Welcome to our class...

This week we are learning about a movie written by Dr. Seuss: The Lorax.  The  movie opens on March 2nd which would have been Dr. Seuss’ 108th birthday!  Dr. Seuss was a famous author of children’s books. The Lorax movie has a message that everyone can work together.   We can: plant trees, recycle, pick up litter and more.   Like the Lorax, we can protect the environment.  We all talked how we help our environment by our recycling efforts.  Our class continues to be in charge of Freedom recycling.  Once a week we go class to class and gather up paper, bottles and cans.  This would make the Lorax happy!

If your child is sent home due to illness, they must be fever free (without medication to reduce fever) for 24 hours. If your child is absent from school or will be tardy, please call and let us know. We worry about your child when they are not here. This will keep the office from having to call to check on your child. In addition, please let us know in advance if you will be picking your child up early from school. We have lots of activities going on and we want to make sure they are in the building when you come.

You can call Mrs. Blake’s class directly at Freedom!
